Good idea. That way we don't have to know where everything is and we can just make up rides and what not. Make the amusement park our own creation and have the liberty to add what we want to it. :3

Where would the amusement park be? I think it'd be cool if it was by the ocean. Zombies at the beach, yes.

ALSO YOU KNOW THAT ONE PIRATE SHIP RIDE? THAT SHOULD BE THERE TOO

AND ONE OF THOSE HAUNTED HOUSE RIDES OMG

Yes, a generic amusement park is a good idea. I also like the idea of making a map of it as we create places. LOL WE SHOULD HAVE A COLLABORATIVE ROLLER COASTER TYCOON SCENARIO FILE HAHAHA.

I think it would be really cool to have most of our characters (at least the starting group) trapped on the same ride when the outbreak hits. That way, we're all strangers and forced to cooperate via circumstance.

It could also cut down on the insane amount of NPCs, because evacuation could start while we're trapped. Thoughts?

I like it because it seems less contrived. Somehow.

Instead of having all these characters meet sloppily and join up without good reason, as most RPs tend to fall victim to, they really had no other options and were thrown into this mess together right from the getgo. It's actually a pretty good idea.

Plus, the relationships and dynamics could grow more fluid and gradually. There's no "every man for himself" in the way, they aren't used to their situation. It comes out of the blue, they set up everything, barricade, stockpile, shoot, and they do it all together out of necessity. Then, due to human psychology, they automatically feel attached to one another as a result of sharing a traumatic and/or stressful experience.

Interestingly, even two characters that hate each other's guts would probably trust each other more than they would another person who tries to join them later.

They'd get close-knit quick.

So I've realized that, with Hercules arriving in 3 days, we probably won't be able to get involved in the RP until after New Year's. We're both really excited though, we just might not be able to participate at the very beginning, depending on when we get started.

Whoa. Whoa. Sign me up. I like all that's been said so far. :3

The trouble for me will be coming up with a character that's not like the dozen or so other RP characters I've spawned. XDX

I'm all in favor of starting in the new year after holidays. That'd be good timing if you ask me.

I also think it'd be awesome like Av said to have us forced together so it doesn't magically happen like it never would in reality. lol. The problem is that the breakout isn't like, you get on a rollercoaster and everything's fine and you get off and there's tons of zombies. Maybe it's been breaking out around the world and a herd plows through the amusement park? lol idk

Alpha suggested it, I just liked it a lot. xD

This is kinda why I was suggesting a huge place like Disney though. A normal amusement park doesn't have much space to isolate you. A huge amusement park like the ones in Florida are the size of an entire county. Once you enter, you can stay at a hotel for a few days.

I'm just picturing this amazing shot of them all on the rollercoaster, headed up high in the air, then the camera pans out from the carts and shows the side-view of the horizon. That's when the music lurches as it shows all the devastation, along with thousands of walking corpses amidst a near-sea of smoke. This is the first they see of the destruction, and they had no idea it was happening. Before they can even process it, they're being launched 72 miles per hour on an adrenaline ride, and the whole thing is just a disorienting and horrible experience.

Freak out ensues.
