I want to do a Female Ghost from Starcraft, best reference would be Nova or Kerrigan and the goal isn't to look like either per say, but just a random 'Ghost'; but that'd be ages away. :\

My goal is to have Rapunzel from Tangled done for Dragon*con (first weekend in September). I'm just trying to decide one of three hair options: one long straight wig, long wig braided with flowers, or short hair

Because my best friend debuted his Flynn Rider last year and he's kind of the best Flynn ever:

I promised him I'd have 'punz done this year and I don't intend on breaking that promise.

I'm also working on Spider-woman and Firestar for the same convention (both are Marvel superheroes). Aside from that I'm not sure what else. I'd like to get back into anime but I'm not sure what.

He has the face down perfectly O_O.

I'm not sure I can handle you doing Rapunzel...I'm not sure the world is ready for such perfection and hotness in cosplay. But we'll just have to find out :D.
The best posts I ever made were the ones I didn't make.

I definitely wouldn't go for the long straight wig, they're really hard to handle and they tangle really easily. I'd go for the short brown hair because that's the easiest, that's just me though. XD

My Shion cosplay is nearly complete! Just need to fix up the wig a bit (and my eyebrows will be white as well at the con, of course xD)

I want to make a cosplay page, but I always am afraid it'll come off as me being all like "Hey guys, look at me, I'm so good at cosupray. Come follow this page to look at me cosplaying and feed into my vanity." Which is not what my intention would be, but meh. And lol, it's not like I even view other people that have those pages like that. Well, except if you give out freaking business cards for your cosplay page at cons. That's just straight up pretentious (I have gotten business cards of cosplayers shoved in my face after complimenting various cosplayers). But yeah, cosplay page. I still want one. idk. Maybe I'll make one eventually. But not until after I make my Cersei cosplay.

Speaking of that, yeah, my next cosplay is going to be Cersei Lannister from Game of Thrones. I'm gonna do this outfit:

I'm particularly excited because I am so in love with this character. Also, it's a little intimidating because I've never made a gown before. Or made armor. Oh, and I haven't embroidered anything before, much less attempted to embroider that much (there are humming birds and lions and stuff embroidered all over the gown). Oh boy. Also, I have to do this within the next month. Also, I'm moving into my first apartment in a couple weeks, so I have to pack all that stuff and whatnot, so I have that much less time to work on it. Oh boy. Oh, and Shark Week is the week leading up to Otakon (which is my deadline), so that's more time I can't spend working on it (yes, Shark Week is that important l: ).

WISH ME LUCK l:

Oh lord cosplay business cards are hilarious. Whenever I get one I'm always like "how egotistical are you?".  I only made a page to try to keep things separate. I can share cosplay and modeling things in one spot and personal stuff elsewhere.  Especially since I'm getting married and having a baby. Having things separated felt like the right idea.

See, that's the right reason to have a cosplay page. I mean, it's not the only reason, obviously, but yeah. Organization is definitely a great reason to have one. But lol, yeah cosplay business cards. It's one thing if you're a photographer and you give a cosplayer your business card after you take their picture, but if you are cosplaying and just throw business cards out at everyone who takes your picture or even just compliments your cosplay, then bleh. Gross.

People actually have business cards for cosplay?

There are Female Ghosts in Starcraft? I wasn't aware of that.

Maybe their featured in Starcraft 2? Because I don't remember 'em in the previous games.

I was gonna post pics of my outfits from Animinneapolis, but they're on my phone, so I have yet to figure out how to download them onto my laptop.
But as soon as I do, I'll probably post them.

With a lot of phones, you can just select the photo you want to put on your computer, put it in a text message, and in the to: box, enter your email address instead of a phone number. I've done it before.

And so it begins…

Right now, I'm working on making a mock up of the gown out of muslin so I can modify the pattern I bought and so I can get the fit down before I accidentally screw up my good fabric. I most likely don't have time for this, much too bad. l:

So yeah. This is me in my Belarus cosplay from Animinneapolis 2 months ago.
