I LOVE YOU. I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU POSTED ALL THIS.

I think the only thing I'm getting this week is Avengers #1. I'm still back and forth on All New X-Men as well.

<3 I'm pretty enthusiastic when it comes to comics. I wanted to make it big on the last site, but it didn't seem to have enough interest. This time, I'm going to push it hard and hope we can get more discussion.

DC COMICS

Before Watchmen: Comedian #4 (If you haven't seen any of the art on this book, google it)
Before Watchmen: Minutemen #5
Stormwatch #15

IMAGE COMICS

Invincible #98 (my favorite comic)

MARVEL COMICS

All New X-Men #3 (Maybe. I still haven't read 1 or 2)
Avengers #1 (AN AVENGERS BOOK WRITTEN BY SOMEONE OTHER THAN BENDIS!)
Daredevil End of Days #3
Fury MAX #7 (Ennis lives to write Nick Fury)
Ultimates #18.1 (even if I hate the .1 issues)

Yeah, I still haven't read All New X-Men 1 or 2 yet either. But it's the only thing with Cyclops' team right now until February when Uncanny X-Men starts up again.

I'm really happy about the Avengers getting a new writer as well. Bendis is alright, but it's nice to get new writers every once in awhile. Or in this case eight years.

Honestly, I think Bendis peaked around 5 or 6 years ago, and his writing has gotten lazy since. And I'm not too big on the way he writes team books. His dialogue is never character specific. He has everyone talk in 'Bendis speak'. Like if I you heard me read one of his conversations without seeing the panels, I bet you'd have a hard time differentiating who said what. Plus some of it is just really out of character. Add to that that he doesn't know how to choreograph a big fight, and it makes me think he should've stuck to single character titles.

His Daredevil run was amazing, and you could tell he really had a grip on all of the characters.

Yes, I completely agree! It is hard to differentiate the characters. I can't tell you how many times Spider-man and Iron Man have been out of character. -_-

Yeah, I think he should stick with single character runs.

I just got Avengers #1, Amazing Spider-man #699, and Uncanny Avengers #2.

I am unimpressed with Avengers #1. Depending on the next couple of issues... I think I might just drop it. They brought in seven people that have absoutely no business being in the Avengers. I appreciate the two mutants in it... But they could have chosen other ones. And then the five other heroes too. They could have easily chosen five others. And I also didn't like that they used the Avengers team from the movie as the main 'core' team. I'm just tired of everything becoming like the movie. If anything, Captain Marvel or even Spider Woman should be on the 'core' team instead of Black Widow.

I think I'm going to go with New Avengers. That seems like it'll be a good story with good characters.

DC

Wonder Woman #15 (One of the best books month in, month out. Even if you know nothing about the character, and I didn't when I started reading, be sure to check this book out. It's much more of a Greek mythology book than superhero one, but it's done n such a unique way. I love this title)

Where is Jake Ellis? #2 (Sequel mini to the awesome action/mystery mini Who is Jake Ellis?)

Marvel

Avengers #2 (Assuming I like the 1st issue. Still haven't read it.)
Avengers Arena #2
Daredevil #21
Ultimates #19

HACK SLASH

What is this about (without spoiling too much)? I've heard it was good from a couple people but never really inquired about it.

It's a world where serial killers and the horror movie monster sort (known as "slashers") are real and "normal", in a sense. Cassie's mother was one, and when she found out she killed her. Now she goes around with her monster-but-good companion (aka Vlad), hunting down slashers wherever they can find them.

It's action/horror with good dark humor.

Almost nothing is coming out this week.

I'll get Justice League #15, and maybe eventually get Crossed Badlands if I ever catch up.

I'm a little peeved that that the Avengers and the New Avengers are bi-monthly series now. I can't afford that. I'll have to choose between the two, but it will more than likely be the New Avengers. I haven't been to the store since Amazing Spider-man #700 came out.
