Of course not, it would be really bad for her if things were like that. But hey, I am going to write a book about a young girl who moves to her father and then meets a strange Vampire in school. Wonder what people would say to that :D.
I would love for somebody to take the Twilight Saga by the throat and make it good.

I've considered doing it actually for fun. But it would be a lot of pointless time wasted when I got a better vampire/werewolf story anyways.

I'd read either one of the new versions!

It would just be really hard to make either Edward and Bella interesting without completely changing their character. Seriously, that's the only way I could do it since they're original personalities are so repulsive.

Heehee! Well, fortunately, not all characters in fiction are like that. ^_^

Thankfully, not all people in real life are like that. Although, if they were, would that make relationships easier?  Hahahhahaa. Would our poorly written selves be able to tell the difference? xD

Thank goodness for that. The problem is that there's so much popularity on a series with incredibly lackluster characters and plot. It just makes me a little scared that people will take that to meaning that they should write their stories like that. Why do you think Vampire series are all about angsty romances now?

Are they? I haven't been keeping up with vampire romances. XD But, for all the people that like it, there are bound to be people who don't and people who are willing to write something not like that. ;)

Yeah, they are. It's sad. But thankfully like you said, there are plenty of people who are willing to 'break the mold' so to speak.

I spent a whole year as a library aid in highschool, being surrounded by books I know my way around young adult books. Let me tell you, many of them you could tell were similar to Twilight just from the synopsis. Maybe a little bit better I'm sure, but my point still stands. A franchise that becomes popular can be a very popular thing but it can also be very dangerous since it can literally redefine a genre. And yeah, there are a lot that don't like the series or the genre that vampires are in now, but I haven't seen any real examples of it. Hollywood is the main control of media and they tend to see anything popular as it's actually really good when sometimes it isn't.

It's actually good now though that Hunger Games came around when it did because it righted every wrong in the young adult genre that Twilight kinda destroyed. Not only are there a ton of dystopia novels, but the characters are a bit stronger and the female leads are actually fun to read about in many franchises.

The Twilight Saga is home to some of the most interesting characters in the history of fiction, none of whom are properly utilized.

You could take literally any member of Edward's vampire family and write an entire epic series on each with their backstories.

It took a really crap storyteller like Meyer to take all of those great ideas and completely waste them.

That is so true, I actually really like most of the characters of Twilight that aren't Edward and Bella. XD

I'm sure any story about them would've been interesting, but there's so much hype about Edward and Bella, it's hard to remember that there are other characters with really interesting back stories. XD

In an attempt to get back on topic, let's talk about the Mockingjay movie, and some of the events that will destroy our souls.

Such as;
(click to show/hide)Finnick's death. Peeta's hijacking. Annie and Finnick's reunion. Katniss' emotional downfall. Finnick's Death. Peeta's recovery. Finnick's death. Prim's death at the hand of one of Gale's inventions. FINNICK'S DEATH.

Why, Schmidt Why? T____T

(click to show/hide)I'm still in denial that Finnick died. Seeing it on screen will literally kill me. Especially since I have a rather big love for Sam Claflin.

I have to admit though, I'd be one of those poor broken souls who would laugh if the scene plays out as quickly as it did in the book. Purely to fight through the pain.

Finnick deserved better than a sentence, my god.
