I loved how easily all three of them bent such powerful blasts of air. It was cool. Tenzin teaches them well.

A little too well. For their own good, though. I loved all three of them. They're AWESOME. XD

Yes! I really wish they had been able to meet Aang on screen. Thier interaction would have been epic! :D

Yeah, that would have been pretty cool. Aang never met his grand kids. </3

Aang never met his grand kids. </3

That was bittersweet. With Aang we wouldn't have Korra, but with Korra we have no Aang so he never got to meet his grandkids. :(

But can you imagine how awful Korra must feel, that everytime her birthday comes around its just a sad reminder to Katara and the rest of the family that their Dad/Husband is gone?

Ugh, yes. I feel bad about it too. But still, it's not like he's gone gone gone. He's still in the spirit world and watch over them. :)

No... But they will eventually. Even if it is in a hundred years or so. XD

This must be my third favorite episode of the book! From the attack of the Equalists, to the airbending kids fighting back to save their home and Pema's newborn.
Meelo was hilarious here!!

(sigh)  These.  :D

At the start of the episode, it occurred to me that Amon going after Tarrlok (in the previous episode) was a natural first strike against Republic City.  Tarrlok was the de facto leader.  Of the remaining four Council members, Tarrlok is the only real candidate to lead, but would the others follow?

Assuming they hadn’t been carted off by the Equalists, that is.

Pema’s “I’m… going to step out if you want to talk…” is still classic.  XD

Re Lin helping Pema out, Meelo enjoyed Pema’s “will you give him a bath?” way too much.  Tenzin’s darn lucky the Equalists attacked.  XD

Love the change of seasons in Republic City, too.

Tenzin’s beard sensors were beautiful.

Hmm… if Mako hadn’t tied off the junk, what would have happened?  XD

Asami looks so wonderfully fierce, gunning the engine of her car--excuse me, Satomobile--to ramming speed against the mechatanks.  And in the counterattack against the Equalists.

I realize that this is “75 years on” from ATLA’s world and that Mike and Bryan can make the tech whatever they want it to be, but… gas-powered cable grapples?  Advanced plastic surgery in a few episodes?  Radio-detonated bombs next season?  The Equalists’ battery-powered shock gloves? I thought this had been advertised as “steampunk!”

One other thought—Mako knew of the Equalists.  Wouldn’t the Republic City Police?  Yet the Police have lost almost every encounter with them.  They have so terribly underestimated the Equalists.

Stay away from my dad’s ex-girlfriend!”  And the Kataang grandkids’ counterattack.  Beautiful.

(Kinda gotta feel for the Lieutenant--again.  Clobbered by Jinora, spiked by Naga.  Ouch.  :D)

And Meelo!!  And Lin’s “Never mind.  :|”  Oh gosh.  XD

Asami’s look after Mako’s “Korra.  We should get moving.” speaks volumes.  That is the subtlety I was looking for.

In short: I liked this episode.  :D
