I remember reading a pretty plausible theory on how Amon might be using bloodbending to block the light chakra. Sounds interesting.

That sounds really interesting! I wish Bryke had revealed just how he was able to remove people's bending.

I think we might... seeing as the second book deals with the Spirit World... Hopefully, we'll find out. :)

A really great episode. It was amaing to see what Aang and  friends were doing after they saved the world from Firelord Ozai, but I wished we had also seen, even briefly, Katara and Zuko.
But it was still a good one.

I wouldn't have minded seeing Katara and/or Zuko, either.  (sigh)  Ah, well.

And come to think of it, a bendingless Amon/Noatak would be an interesting person to talk to in the Spirit World, that's for sure.  XD

I think it’s interesting that during Korra’s “time in the box”, she made no move to bend until the box was opened by the Equalists.  The basement floor surely isn’t metal.  Prolonged Firebending could have warped the door frame.  Really, Korra.  XD

Bolin’s chamber pot scene was a bit much, but Lin’s zipper lift was a nice touch.

“Because he [Tarrlok] has Korra!  He fooled us all!”  Yes, that’s the correct answer, but quite a leap of logic there, Tenzin.  The Equalist couldn’t have lied to you, no, not at all.  Geez.

When I first saw Season 1, I was drooling at just about every flashback, wanting to see and hear news of the Gaang, what happened, how they turned out.  They did a masterful job of finding voiceactors who sounded like the mature Gaang, they really did.

And but for the Council Page, Tarrlok might have gotten away with the whole thing.  And thanks to the Council Page, poor Asami planked.  XD  Ouch.

I think Lin enjoyed slapping Tenzin, don’t you?  XD

I suppose it makes sense that Bloodbending technique could be refined, improved, and made more deadly the same way Mako has his quickdraw lightning strike (and in Season 3, how Zaheer has his killing vacuum bubble) but it still bothers me that Yakone’s Bloodbending (and Amon’s, and Tarrlok’s) is that powerful.

Aang beat Yakone by calling on the Avatar State--and presumably his past lives.  Would Season 2 Korra be able to do the same thing without her past lives?  Although come to think of it, she was able to now, and without the Avatar State.  (She’s just that stubborn.  XD)

“You’re Yakone’s son!”  Again, quite a leap of logic there, Korra.  Although you did get Tarrlok monologuing there, a la The Incredibles.  XD  And about that, good grief, Tarrlok.  Scooby Doo much?

“I thought I told you not to underestimate her!”  Nice.  XD
