Otherworld sounds awesome. That sounds right up my alley since my own story is the more humorous witty kind. Thank you, Lex, you freaking rock!

You should be able to. She's a pretty reputable author.

Also if you're not adverse to supernatural romance filled with kick ass action Sherrilyn Kenyon is tops. She and Armstrong are my two favorite authors in both supernatural, romance and fantasy.  I think you might even appreciate Kenyon's world more because she created a great twist on Greek (and many other) mythology. If a person dies filled with a great desire for revenge, the goddess Artemis gives them a second life to fulfill that desire. In return they serve her in their new immortal life, essentially turning them into Kenyon's version of "vampires" which aren't really vampires at all in the mainstream sense.

There are more supernaturals like shifters that have their own interesting origin.  "Shifter" types have always been my preference when it comes to supernatural subjects, and Kenyon's shifters are one of my favorite concepts. There's a huge history and so many intertwining conflicts in her series that just keeps the story expanding and yet never tiring.

So if expansive new twists on old legends and myths is your thing, no one does it better than Sherrilyn Kenyon.

She's also very easy to find in libraries. Her series is so long (and growing) I recommend looking up the reading order before checking her out.

Who wouldn't like supernatural romance with lots of sweet action? XD

Okay, that Greek thing sounds freaking amazing. @_@ And I do love new twists on popular genres. Definitely checking this out now.

So what is the series called? She has a ton of books. Also, where does the story take place?

Oh duh! It's the Dark-Hunter series. It takes place mostly in New Orleans (what better place for supernatural action?).

The first book of the series is more of a launching pad for the rest. Kind of like a prequel. It's called... *cough* Fantasy Lover. A really crappy name, I know. But her publisher advertised her as a typical romance writer in the beginner.  Once the DH series kicked off she got a lot better representation as more than a dime store romance author.

And I'm not dogging on the book. It's actually one of my favorite ones. I just really hate saying the name. xD

Fantasy Lover sounds like the title of an erotic centaur/mermaid fanfic.

After doing some research, it doesn't seem like these books would be my cup of tea. But I hope you like them, Fe.

True, but booklovers love to look for books alongside their fellow booklovers, so it's understandable. xDDD

OMG. I was channeling surfing and saw a drama called "Bitten" on syfy just started. A knee-jerk reaction, I had to check it out (anticipating disappointment like I've had so many times in the past). They made it. They finally made it! "Bitten" has been stuck in script limbo by WB forever. It's a tv drama not a silver screen movie, but I'll take it.

The only crimes so far is Clay is without his deep southern accent (an absolute travesty) and Elena is supposed to be a tom boy but has been in nothing but dresses and slips that belong on Sex in the City. (Maybe she'll be more casual when she goes home...)

Otherwise I'm so excited I can't stand it. This is a 10 year dream realized without warning in the middle of the night.

Holding my breath for their wolf portrayals. Better not be cgi vomit!!

It's vomit.  But it could have been worse considering it's tv.

At least they got their color schemes right.
