Title: Episode 317: The Ember Island Players
Post by: Lionheart on August 03, 2013, 10:04:16 AM
Aside from a few funny moments, I did not like this episode. Most of the play was awkward jokes. Worst of all was that "I'm confused" scene. It made me cringe because not only was that bad writing, there was nothing to indicate those feelings of confusion or uncertainty in Katara. It's only somewhat funny now because of LoK that the Avatar doesn't understand that the person he or she's interested in is confused about their feelings.

Out of curiosity, why are you asking them that, Lion?

Well, to be honest, the Greek voice actors are really bad sometimes...
It will either be not getting the correct tone of something or the translation making it sound... weird and a 'smack-forehead' reason. :P

Yeah, it's a fact. Greek translations aren't very good.
And to answer your question, Lionheart, I've only caught a few ATLA episodes on TV in Greek, I've mostly watched it online in English.
