Linkin Park saved my life more than once. And helped me realize that depression was just another part of life. I'm heartbroken by Chester's passing. And I don't know if I can listen to their music right now... It's come on the radio several times and it ends with me crying.

When I heard the news it stuck as a double impact.  Chester was friends with Chris Cornell and godfather to one of Chris's children.  Chris took his own life not long ago so I often wonder the impact of that took on Chester.  Chris was a member of Temple of the Dog and they sang this song from that band:

Numb has always had a special place on my playlist. Love that song.

RIP Chester.

It's always heartbreaking when those that can entertain millions of others can't make themselves smile.

Linkin Park not only was responsible for my taste in music, a source of inspiration during my Avatar AMV making days, but like like many teens and young adults in the 2000's got me through tough times growing up so this hits close to home for me.

To honor his memory lets talk about and share some of our favorite LP songs.

Somewhere I Belong

Leave Out All The Rest. This one hits real hard right now.

I'm legitimately wondering if Annie has a memory in her childhood of Anthony messing with Surma's head. Legit. Seriously, she started out dating Eglamore, her personality seemed very frivolous and free-spirited. The idea that she would end up with someone as closed off as Anthony is strange. I'm honestly wondering if Annie knows something we don't. This is Gunnerkrigg, after all.
