Title: New year resolutions (a thought)
Post by: Noodles Aang Colbert on December 31, 2017, 12:59:36 PM
Let's face it the past couple of years have been rough both on a global and personal level and it has created a difficult time to just think about anything really.  From reading things on friends and in the news in general I know that the majority of people are in the same ballpark in how they are feeling.  Actually in 2017 I never made a new year's resolutions on anything.  To me  years resolutions are just like refocusing what I need to do and nothing crazy.  Obviously I want to accomplish some things during the next 365 days that hopefully I can at the very least make progress on.  I'm not sure how everyone looks at news years resolutions and let's face rarely do we ever achieve them.  Still I think they are important not to see as a failure if you fall short rather see them as an improvement over the previous year.  I'm not one for posting or sharing my new years resolutions because they are for me but I'm curious as to what other people think about them in general.

My only resolution this year is to complete my wedding without anything dramatic happening. And to draw more

No resolutions, I just hope this year will be better than last and that Trump won't send my brother to some craphole in the Middle East.

No real resolutions beyond getting back on the wagon when I fall off, but there is a Swedish proverb I'm going to try to keep more in mind:
"Fear less, hope more; eat less, chew more; whine less, breathe more; talk less, say more, love more, and all good things will be yours."
